SPRING FAIR
Sun 27th October, 2024 – Free Entry.
It’s a fundraising community and family event to raise funds for the new community building on the Houghton Oval. We wanted to provide a fun and family event where the locals can engage in community and shop, support and buy local.
It’s a growing event with over 120 stalls and approximately 2000 attendees.
The Spring Fair has FREE ENTRY. Parking around the oval is $5, or parking in the town is free.

REMEMBRANCE DAY
11th November
The Houghton/Inglewood/Hermitage Oval Committee run an annual Remembrance Day event at the memorial walk remembrance wall at the Houghton Oval.
This event is free and all locals are invited to join us.

ANZAC DAY
25th April
The Houghton/Inglewood/Hermitage Oval Committee run an annual Anzac Day event at the Houghton Square.
Remembrance service with local speakers, catafalque party, children’s involvement, laying of wreaths and respects paid followed by community breakfast, in the village square near the rotunda.
The breakfast is served by volunteers, and tea and coffee are provided by the CWA.
Community Run Oval
The Houghton Oval - Houghton, Inglewood and Hermitage Memorial Park acknowledges the land and people of Country Peramangk & Kaurna.
