About
Willunga Recreation Park is owned and managed by the community of Willunga. This has been the case since 1875 when a group of residents determined that a public park be provided for the use of local residents. Over the ensuing years the park has been developed and become a focal point for the community, not only for sporting activities but for all social and community events.

The SACWA Houghton welcome all ladies to join in friendship and fun. The SACWA Houghton, generally meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
The SACWA is a non political organisation aimed at enhancing the lives of country women and providing a vehicle for fun and friendship. Much of the works we do involved fundraising for local organisations and aid, to enhance the lives of the country community.
REWORD: SACWA is the largest women’s service organisation in South Australia. It needs you to ensure it can continue to grow and provide valuable assistance to the community.
Joining a branch offers lots of opportunities to learn new skills, build friendships and give back to the community – whilst having plenty of fund along the way!
As a member of SACWA you will also be part of a global organisation – Associated Country Women of the World.
Members regularly participate in workshops on handicraft, baking, floriculture, the arts and international matters. Branches also fundraise for the SACWA Emergency Aid Fund, the Dorothy Dolling Memorial Trust Fund, or any other project that the Association is undertaking.
